Note: Every child in Somerville deserves a high-quality education, complete with after-school programs and the support their family needs to succeed. I am proud to be part of Padres Latinos, advocating for school equity and language access and, amid the COVID crisis, helping families to access vital resources. Paula is co-leader of Padres Latinos.

I strongly support Beatriz for City Council, she has walked our streets to improve opportunities for the most vulnerable. Beatriz has built a lot of trust among immigrant and Latino families by being genuine, approachable, and responsive.

She knows the Somerville community very well, its institutions, and the issues at stake, and she finds innovative solutions that will work for our problems, from infrastructure, to the environment, transit, and housing. Her vision will make a brighter future for all Somerville families.

Bea understands that equity is more than a word, equity is hard governance work, equity is translating her passion into actions for change.
